We welcome you to the Hérault Valley, in a fully renovated old sheepfold dating from the early 19th century. Nestled in the heart of the garrigue, this independent and unique troglodyte-style dwelling has retained its charm with its pretty stone vaults. The accommodation This pleasantly furnished 51m² accommodation is located in the heart of a small, quiet and peaceful hamlet. It includes: - A fully equipped kitchen. - A relaxation area with TV, Wifi and a sofa bed. - A bedroom with a double bed (160x200), including a 100% natural latex mattress from the Kipli brand, known for its comfort and eco-responsible properties. - A separate shower room with a walk-in shower. - A beautiful spacious entrance. - A separate toilet. You will find basic food items (pasta, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, coffee, cocoa powder, and tea), sheets, bath towels, shampoo, shower gel, as well as board games at your disposal. Guest access The accommodation (independent) is located on the ground floor of our house. We have a two-year-old baby, so you may hear them during the day. Access is via a private entrance, at the end of a dead-end street, and you will have access to the entire accommodation. You will be able to park easily and for free in the hamlet, not far from the sheepfold. The accommodation is in an isolated hamlet with no shops, so a car is necessary if you wish to get around. It is ideally located by car at: - 30 min from Montpellier and 40 min from the beaches. - 5 min from the village grocery store (La Boissière) and 10 min from the nearest shops and restaurants (Montarnaud, Aniane, Saint-Paul-et-Valmalle, etc.). - 25 min from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and its surrounding rivers. - 30 min from Lake Salagou and Pic Saint-Loup. - Close to numerous hiking trails (GR653: southern route of the Way of Saint James of Compostela), historical and cultural sites, and sports activities.
